Our Story

We are Nadia & Gunnar
We love being outside. We met during our early years in college on our school swim team and had a few photography classes together. It was through our mutual love of photography that we started dating.  Fast forward 9 years we are now married!!!  

We are both passionate with two diverse backgrounds: Nadia in fine art and Gunnar in journalism/documentary film making.

When it comes to shooting we feel we are blessed to be able to pursue what we love together. We are all about what’s real; capturing life’s small (and large!) moments.

“Nadia is the one of the most selfless and caring individuals that i have ever met, and quite the creative.

Influenced by the greats Alex Prager and Cindy Sherman she decided to pursue portraiture. it was portraiture that drew her to weddings.

If not behind the camera, Nadia can be found putting some paint to canvas creating some "heather brown" inspired works, practicing her calligraphy, or honing her cooking skills trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

She loves to travel and is always down for last minute camping trips. She is a foodie even though she might not think so."

With a background in Journalism and documentary photography Gunnar decided to pursue wedding photography.

He grew up with a passion for the great outdoors. Whenever he has free time he can be found in the outdoors, he just packs his bag and goes.

He's an awesome swim coach (we met on the college swim team, he's not a bad swimmer himself). don't be fooled by his quiet demeanor he can crack a joke or two when you least expect it.

He has a dry humor and kindest heart.
